Philosophy and Methods of Biblical Education

ABBA INSTITUTE of MOTIVATION

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a
good conscience and a sincere faith (1Tim 1:5).

The universities only ought to turn out men who are experts
in the Holy Scriptures, men who can become bishops and
priests, (who) stand in front and all the world. But where
do you find that?
I greatly fear that the universities, unless they teach the
Holy Scriptures deligently and impress them on the young
students, are wide gates to hell. I would advise no one to
send his child where the Holy Scriptures are not supreme.
Every institution that does not unceasingly pursue the study
of Gd's word becomes corrupt.
Martin Luther 1520

We realize that many Christian adults

1. were not educated with Biblical methods of education;

2. feel inadequate and unprepared in educational methods;

3. desire to know education from God's perspective;

4. desire to renew their mind according to God's word.

Therefore run in such a way, as not without
AIM (1Cor 9:26a).

Doctrinal Statement

1. There is one God, Creator, Sustainer, Deliverer, Healer,
Savior, infinitely perfect in all His ways, eternally
co-existing, and always revealed as One - Father, Son and
Holy Spirit.

2. The Scriptures, known as the Old and New Testament, have
their ultimate explanation in the person and teachings of
the Lord Jesus Christ. All matters in this age and the next
are under the authority of Christ.

3. Human beings, made in God's image, male and female, are
tripartite beings. The spirit, soul and body are to be led
by the Holy Spirit of God.

4. Only those who are born of the Spirit through faith in the
life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of the Lord
Jesus Christ can then be led by the Holy Spirit and enter
eternal life.

5. The true fear of the Lord inspiring awe and love of God is
the only way to Biblical wisdom and understanding for the
educational needs of any generation.
