"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual {forces} of wickedness in the heavenly {places.} Therefore, take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist

"Father, glorify Thy name." There came therefore a voice out of heaven: "I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again." The multitude therefore, who stood by and heard it, were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, "An angel has spoken to Him." Jesus answered and said, "This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes. Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world shall be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself (John 12:28-36)."

ASCENSION - JESUS in heaven, TRUTH HOLY SPIRIT on earth, TRUTH

According to Genesis 1:26a God, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, said, "'Let US make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness.'" God then carried out Their desire, "God created man in Their own image, in the image of God They created him; male/female They created them" (Gen 1:27).

Because we human beings have been created in God's image, we are spirits who are also a soul (mind, will, intellect, emotions, feelings, attitudes). We have also been given five senses by which we process information from the natural world that comes to us through our physical bodies. We then communicate thoughts, wills, intellects, emotions, feelings, and attitudes to others made in "Our image, according to Our likeness," with our male/female bodies.

God desires to communicate to our spirit first, then to our soul, and then to our body. When the human spirit is blocked, the soul/body assumes ascendancy over the human spirit, and walking with the Lord is very sporadic and unfulfilling. When that occurs, a human being will attempt to use other things/people to find contentment and satisfaction. Anything that replaces Spirit to spirit fellowship will eventually become an idol, a "stumbling block of iniquity" (Eze14:3-11).

The following outline of Ephesians 6:10-20 may be helpful to understand being Spirit-led. "For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God" (Rom 8:14). We have to be Spirit-fed to be Spirit-led. When we are Spirit-filled, we are also Spirit-stilled (peace). STAND FIRM

1. TRUTH in innermost being: loins girded with TRUTH - GOD: Creator
   Father, Son, Holy Spirit: SPIRIT of God in human spirit;
2. RIGHTEOUSNESS in heart: breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS - GOD: Creator Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit: RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in human soul;
3. GOSPEL of PEACE: feet prepared - GOD: Creator
   Father, Son, Holy Spirit: God of PEACE in human body
4. Shield of FAITH -Spirit to soul -FAITHFULNESS of God: extinguish all - contrary wills & intellects that disagree with FATHER's will & intellect:
   ask HEAVEN? or human? or hell?
5. Helmet of Salvation - SPIRIT to soul(thoughts, emotions, feelings, attitude) - Mind of Christ; discern TRUTH/error; discern HEAVEN, or human, or hell?
6. Sword of the SPIRIT - SPIRIT to soul(thoughts,pictures,words) and body(brain/tongue/mouth) - WORD of GOD - logos/rhema/prophecy - is JESUS
7. Prayer in the SPIRIT - SPIRIT to spirit/soul/body - Intercession - of JESUS and HOLY SPIRIT:

groans too deep for words (sounds) tongues/interpretation of tongues (sounds)
prophecy (native language) (sounds) dreams, visions, trances (unseen; has to be communicated (sounds)
worship "in Spirit and Truth" - songs, dance, other manifestations (sounds, body movements,etc.)

What then shall we say to these things? If God {is} for us, who {is} against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, "For Thy sake we are being put to death all day long; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered." But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:31-39).
